How we built it

The plot was an old bus depot with a slab we could not see under. We broke it out in week two, found two fuel tanks nobody had drawn and still kept the programme, because the tanks went out on the same lorries as the rubble.

Each terrace stands on one concrete raft. The timber frames arrived from the factory numbered by house, went up in nine working days per terrace and were watertight before the first winter storm.
